Late Church

Since the new year, the time our church meets is one in the afternoon. We can normally get Jack to take a nap before we go, but lately he has been refusing to take a nap. Today I laid him down around 10:30 and he cried till around noon, so we just got him up. We are nursery leaders in our ward, so we bring Jack with us. After two hours of playing with other kids he is always really tired. We were not going to let him take a nap when we got home from church because it would be to late. We made dinner and put him in his high chair, and he was gone. He head bobbed for about ten minutes, but had no place to rest his head. So we felt bad for him and laid him down in his crib. Here are some pictures and a video of him attempting to sleep in his highchair.

Trip to Washington

For Christmas we went to Washington to visit Aaron's family. The roads were horrible, and it snowed most of the time we were there. On the way up and back we drove 20 mph on the highway for about 3 hours, slipping many times. On the way home we got stuck on an on ramp getting onto the highway. Luckily we were following Aaron's parents car. Aaron's dad, his sister, and me got out and pushed the car. The snow was up to our knees! Just as the car stated to move, I slipped and face planted in the snow, I was covered and all I could do was laugh. Thankfully that was the only time we got stuck.

While in Washington Jack discovered the fun of sticking out his tounge. Now his tounge is always hanging out of his mouth. We have also decided that he is very stubborn. He could walk if he wanted to, but he chooses not to. It follows his same trend of crawling and rolling over. He will do it when he says he will and no one can tell him otherwise. We had such a fun time in Washington and are so thankful for all Aaron's family did for us. We were also able to see my family for a day, and are so thankful for their love and support! Here are some pictures from our trip:

When Jack sat down the snow was as tall as him.
